This week I have been fascinated with my new ability to be present in the moment as well as my ability to see love and abundance all around me.
I had a conversation this week were in the past I would have gotten frustrated and irritated and I found myself calm, loving and present. I was able to know that that person is doing the best they can with the information they have available. I was able to ask myself: What are they wanting to communicate to me? What is at the root of this entire conversation? And how can I be of service? The response I got back was “love me, be kind to me, and be there for me: just listen”.
I was fascinated. I was able to drop my ego and be present and connect with another soul like myself.
How often does your ego stop you from being present or being in service of others? How often does your ego make you focus on solely you or controlling an outcome? How often does that negative self talk pop up to remind you of everything YOU are doing wrong or project the wrong doing out onto someone else?
How would you like to change that? How would you like to be happy and feel good about life and yourself? How would you like to roll out of bed excited about what lies ahead and not be anxious or worried?
1. Journal: Take inventory of what your ego is telling you or your negative self talk. Where in your life does your ego block you from being happy? Where in your life do you have limiting beliefs that stop you from achieving your desired outcomes? Write it down.
2. Journal: Write down the belief you would like to have instead. For example, if you have a belief that “nothing ever goes my way”; instead you can say “I choose to know that the universe has my back.”
3. Pray: Give up that new belief in prayer daily to the universe or God for the next 28 days.
4. Meditate: Sit in silence for at least 5-10 minutes daily following your prayer and get present with your inner guide. Allow yourself to connect with Creation, Infinite Intelligence, God, the Universe through your inner guide. See or visualize how that new belief will manifest.
I would love to know your thoughts on being present, living from a place of love, or the ego. How do you stay present? How do you live from a place of love? How do you combat the ego from rearing its ugly head?
