We all have them.
Remember the last time you checked your messages to find out someone you liked called you. How did you feel? Happy? Excited? How about when you moved into meditation for the first time and you had all this head chatter and you thought, “I can’t be doing this right.” Did you feel Frustrated or Disappointed?
We go through these constant fluctuations in our feelings on a moment to moment basis. Some days we feel happy, inspired, abundant or free. Other days we feel dread, worry, anger or sadness.
What we are feeling on a moment to moment basis is important because it is the foundation for what we create in our lives.
How we feel leads to our thoughts and our thoughts dictate our actions and our actions lead to our results. In other words, if we want abundance we must first feel abundant. It may sound a bit backwards at first, but once you start to see this and put it in to action, you will see amazing things happen.
So, How do you feel happy or good? One way I have done this is to surround myself with powerful and inspiring phrases that make me feel good when I read them and remind me what I am striving for on a daily basis. My Go To’s are Manifestos that speak to me. In my home, I have several Manifestos that I love so much and they set the tone for the energy of my space.
As you enter my home, you are first greeted with the following Manifesto: ” Live Your Dream, Show Compassion, Follow your Heart, CREATE Your Own Happiness, Enjoy the Little Things, Laugh Out Loud, Make a Wish, Be Your Best Self, Cherish Every Moment, Dream Big, Believe in Miracles, Embrace Every Possibility, Remember to Breathe, Sing in the Rain, Fall in Love, Today is the Day.”
Following is the “The house Rules” Manifesto: “In This House: We Laugh…A Lot, We Try our Best, We are Patient…Most of the Time, We Tell the Truth, We Support each other, We Hug Often, We Make Mistakes, We Never Give up, We Always Forgive, We Keep our Promises, We Always Have Fun, But Above All … WE LOVE”.
In my Kitchen you are reminded to “Live, Laugh, Love”. In my bathroom you are reminded to “Live Fully, Challenge yourself, Be Kind and Generous, Inspire Someone, Be Grateful, Take the Road Less Traveled, It’s Never Too Late”.
